This is sweet Mylee Grace.  Mylee has Chiari
and many of the problems associated with it.
She has a feeding tube because everything she
eats goes into her little lungs. She had a
decompression at 17  months of age.  Although
she has developmental delays, her family adores
every single day with her and each little
accomplishment that she makes is a momentous
occasion ! Her parents appreciate and are
thankful for the little things.  We hope that one
day, Mylee will be one of the first campers at
our camp!  Her beautiful smile is an inspiration
to us all!
What does chronic illness look like....
Most of these amazing kids put on a happy face so that
others won't worry or know that they are in pain.
This is Kara.  She is
absolutely beautiful and
you would never know
by looking at her that
she has had 17 brain
surgeries.  Her spirit is
amazing and she is a
wonderful artist.  Most
recently, she was
diagnosed with a
tethered brain stem
resulting from the many
surgeries that she has
endured.  She is a senior
in High School and
struggling with her
career path which is
impacted by her physical
pain and symptoms.
Keep smiling Kara!!!!

In early Oct. on the plane out of
Laguardia, we met Stephen Baldwin.  He
is an amazing Christian and gave us a
copy of his book. It is AMAZING.
He took extra time to talk with us and is
praying for us. Pray for him and his
ministries.
He encouraged Kasie to begin writing
a book about our lives with Chiari and
how it has impacted our family and our
faith throughout this journey.
